STREAM 3 PRO with PLAYLIST+

Great device

i have been using the mp3 stream2 for I think 4 years now, think about that, i use this while swimming, it has lasted 4 years, hello,... Mcfly, anybody in there? the product is amazing, their support staff amazing, you truly are not very bright if you choose someone else's unproven product. when it comes to tearing up something i am king. buy yourself an H2o product that works for you and forget about it, you will be set for years

Easy to download, sound quality is good, still playing around with ear bud sizes. All good.

Product delivered on time, and as advertised. The Playlist+ I'm sure is good, but its not as clever as I imagined, its actually recording the songs, and therefore to transfer a lot of music takes as long as that music is = hrs.

I really like the new feature of streaming from various platforms. Overall a good deal for the money.

I've been lap swimming and listening to MP3 music or public library audiobooks for 10 - 15 years. Recently all libraries stopped loaning audiobooks (Overdrive/Libby) in MP3 format. I've been looking for a good way to listen to music and audiobooks that are on my phone for a while. Being able to use Bluetooth with my phone eliminates all the transfer issues.

The H2O Audio Stream 3 PRO with PLAYLIST+ lets me stream from my iPhone to my waterproof ears buds just fine. The H20 Audio people will tell you that they don't recommend Bluetooth Streaming when you are swimming, but I've only had minor issues when streaming from my iPhone to the device while swimming. You need to clip the Stream 3 PRO on the back of your swim googles (so that it is out of the water) just like the picture on their website and then the attached earbuds work fine while swimming!

Bluetooth only works for a few inches under the water so you need to keep the Audio Stream 3 PRO out of the water - no real aggressive swimming and no flip turns! The Audio Stream 3 PRO disconnects and reconnects pretty seamlessly when you do go under water.

In Bluetooth mode the Stream 3 PRO with PLAYLIST+ lets you copy streaming programs into local memory and listen to them later. So, in theory, you could make a copy of your Libby audiobook or a podcast or some other streaming program, store it on the device and play it back when you were swimming without worrying about whether the Stream 3 PRO was under water. To make the copy you need to play the program on the device and it will copy the program to local memory while it is playing. (This means that you tie up you device for an hour or two while it plays the program and makes a copy of it on your Stream 3 PRO.)

The Audio Stream 3 PRO in addition to Bluetooth mode has a Memory mode. Memory mode lets you listen to MP3 music that you have transferred to the device (a simple file copy).

My only suggestion is to make the On/Off Play/Pause button tactilely more different than the other buttons. Since it is on the back of my head sometimes I have trouble figuring out which button is the On/Off Play/Pause button. Not a big deal but it would make a really good device A+.

I swim in a 40 foot pool with my iPhone 15 - 20 feet away from the edge of the pool. I use the Surge Bone Conduction Headphones.

Overall I would say that it has great sound quality, is comfortable, and pretty easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone that swims.

I have had other swim headphones that were Just fine l, if uncomfortable, out of the water, but inaudibly garbled as soon as they hit the pool. Tried all the different earpieces, different swim caps to hold them in place, nothing really worked. And they sat behind the ear and were uncomfortable to boot. A friend had been telling me to get these, I snagged them on sale, and I am a very happy camper. Great sound quality, comfortable, and pretty easy to use. I highly recommend. Five stars

lI’ve worn this in fresh water spring in Florida and played my favorite underwater vibes music fully immersed with the fish!

I've been swimming with music for about 10 years in an Endless Pool and tried a lot of solutions - burned through four waterproofed ipods (worked well while they lasted, but discontinued and syncing is a pain) plus a few random attempts with AM transmitter pairs.

The Stream is the best by far. Being able to use bluetooth with my phone eliminates sync hassle. Great for the endless pool, no connection issues ever. Also works in well in a lap pool but not if you do flip turns (product guys if you are listening a big old buffer could eliminate that).

Once you figure out how to use it & add music which is not overly difficult it’s great. Very light weight to use when running.

This is the best of the bunch. Easy to use the Bluetooth and battery life is excellent.

Big upgrade from earlier model and won’t swim without it. Very happy to have. Happy to stream and avoid flip turns. The system for loading content from iPhone is way to time consuming to be practical. That part is a disappointment.

This device is awesome!

I love swimming. Besides being a great form of exercise, it is low impact and easy on your joints. I now swim one mile a day, five days a week. I have also been swimming with music for years. Over that time, I have had a number of players and a number of headphones. Most don’t last that long, and many were not of high quality.

I have been using H2O Audio over the past 2 years and find their products are well made and produce quality sound. I have been very satisfied with the Stream Duo Mode and Surge BC-Bone conduction, as well as the Tri Multi Headphones with BT and MP3.

Unfortunately, the only problem is that I have very narrow and sharply angled external ear canals. This, together with my hearing loss, makes my swimming less enjoyable. I would spend about 5 minutes before each swim trying to place my earplugs just right.

This is what prompted me to purchase the Surge Custom Earplugs as well as the Stream 3 Pro with Playlist music player.

THIS WAS A GAME CHANGER!

It took some time learning how to insert the custom earplugs but once I learned how, every swim is more enjoyable with no pre-swim preparation. And the new Stream 3 Pro works like a charm. The other players took some time finding a Bluetooth connection. The Stream 3 Pro connects to my phone’s Bluetooth without a problem. And the sound is excellent.

I would highly recommend both the Surge Custom Earplugs as well as the Stream 3 Pro.

This combination works great for swimming. I would recommend this to anyone that swims.

The stream 3 pro is great in my swim spa. You can hear the music well over the sound of the jets. The unit clips easily to my googles and stays put against the power of the jets. I purchased it with the bone conductor headphones which fit under my goggles straps. My set up works great but only for pool/swim use as the headphones need the goggle straps to secure. I like the app on my phone for easy loading music. I just loaded 30 minutes of several of my favorite Pandora or Amazon music stations/playlists and shuffle through my choice of music. I highly recommend.

I’ve ordered many products from H2O Audio over many years. Every product is as described, prices reasonable. I chatted with Support to pair my Stream 3 Pro—of course it was my error but the person was patient with me. I will continue to purchase products as I need them. I do wish they had products to fit larger phones (>6.5 inches) and bring back the Amphibx iPhone case.

Brilliant company and product

I have a couple of different music players, this being my most recent purchase. The unit is solid and super easy to use. The H2O Audio app for the STREAM 3 Pro is an excellent add on to previous players I’ve purchased.

The challenge is the headphones. It is a challenge to find the right fit. H20 Audio gives lots of buds to try and that helps. I ended up using the buds from my SYRN player on the STREAM 3 PRO.

Overall a really solid and durable unit and very satisfied. Note if you are from Canada like I am, there will be a duty charge of ~$20 CDN.

I have been using H2 Audio for many years… The Stream Pro is my most recent device to listen to music during my swim workouts… These devices are as essential to me as my fins and kick board!
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the headphones sometimes fade out during workout… I am considering giving the surge bone conduction or custom earphones a shot...

Sound is so better then previous stream

It sometimes turns off as I am swimming and still difficult to hear.lost the ear plugs the first week and they helped…not sure of the answer to the challenge of hearing it all the time?

The truth is that I have not used it yet because I am having trouble opening that symbol (?) to view the video
