Setting intentions to achieve growth

After coming off of a big meet like Paralympic Trials it's important to reflect.  Taking time to celebrate while also taking time to grow.  Allowing your body to rest while also discovering your why.

Why do you compete?

Why do you swim?

Its important to ask yourself the hard questions so you can continue being an inspiration for yourself and community.

For me, I love learning and teaching what I learn.  I also love discovering new ways my body can move in the water.

This helps me be an even greater coach. So I continue working towards even better thoughts an even better diet and moving my body towards even more wholeness.

Focusing on the bigger picture allows me to continue to enjoy the journey.  Learning more and more the outcome no longer matters.
