What began as a coaching job for Jose Gallagher, the founder of Rip Current Sports, evolved into a groundbreaking business venture and a promising future for swimming aids. Four years ago, Jose, a lifelong swimmer and swim coach, started training a hairdresser from California who was experiencing leg pain from standing for long hours at work. During their sessions, he discovered that using two kickboards significantly helped her regain feeling and strength in her legs.

Inspired by this success, Jose began developing a prototype for what would eventually become Dual Boards. He dedicated months to refining the design, working closely with beta swimmers, testing various prototypes, and collaborating with manufacturers. This rigorous process culminated in the launch of Rip Current Sports.

Today, Rip Current Sports empowers swimmers of all levels to improve their performance and speed with the innovative, patent-pending Dual Boards. This unique training tool helps swimmers enhance their technique and achieve better results in minutes, making a significant impact on their swimming journey.
