Get to Know Jorge

What inspired you to pursue your sport?

I love spending time in nature, discovering new landscapes and spotting wildlife. I truly believe trail running is the best way to experience all of that.

What are your proudest Go Beyond achievements or milestones?

Beyond race wins or good results, what I’m most proud of is achieving a level of fitness and perseverance that allows me to face any challenge.

Why did you choose to work with H2O Audio?

I found your products really interesting—and I love the way you communicate as a brand.

How has H2O Audio enhanced your training or performance?

For me, having a long-lasting battery means I don’t have to worry about charging my headphones before training sessions or races. And of course, the sound quality is amazing. During ultras, I can even call my family to share how I’m feeling.

What’s your go-to music or playlist during workouts, and what type of workout do you use it for?

I usually listen to techno or Spanish rock, depending on the session. Listen here

Share a memorable moment or story from your training where H2O Audio made a difference.

During the Ultra Trail Guara Somontano, around kilometer 70, I made a call to wish my dad a happy 70th birthday. I was really tired at that point, but I had a wonderful conversation with him—thanks to the headphones.

How do our headphones help keep you motivated during tough sessions or races?

This mainly happens during road training sessions—which I honestly hate. The headphones make them way more enjoyable and help me push through.

What advice would you give to aspiring athletes?

Don’t rush to achieve big results. Focus on your personal growth and enjoy the process—the rest will come.
