Get to Know Kelsie

What inspired you to pursue your sport?

I’m driven by the elements of the ocean. Depending on the conditions I sail, surf, swim, and prone paddle. Each ocean sport discipline allows me to better understand the ocean and grow as an athlete.

What are your proudest Go Beyond achievements or milestones?

Sailing over 10,000 nautical miles in offshore sailing races. Becoming a Honolulu City and County Ocean Safety Lifeguard.

Why did you choose to work with H2O Audio?

I love the product and innovation. The drive behind the company to inspire athletes.

How has H2O Audio enhanced your training or performance?

Listening to music has motivated me to work harder and stay stoked while training.

What’s your go-to music or playlist during workouts, and what type of workout do you use it for?

I listen to a variety of music styles based on my mood and ocean conditions. Recently, it tends to be a lot of 2000s pop and country.

Share a memorable moment or story from your training where H2O Audio made a difference.

Training for the Molokai to Oahu with the TRI Pro Multi Sport has encouraged me to paddle extra miles to prepare for the channel. It’s fun to sing along with my training partners!

Listening to music allows me to stay in a positive mindset.

What advice would you give to aspiring athletes?

Remember to have fun and enjoy the process. Do what you love!
