STREAM Provides Go-Anywhere Music Functionality In a Compact, Durable, Waterproof Form-Factor Ideal for Training and Watersports

Solana Beach, Calif., March 8, 2018 – H2O Audio, the world leader in waterproof headphones for swimming and all watersports, today announced the availability of STREAM—a completely waterproof (IPX8) audio device that functions as both an independent digital music player and a bluetooth receiver. When paired with any of H2O Audio’s high-quality, waterproof headphones, the device is capable of providing up to 10 hours of playback on land or in water – or can be used with any standard headphones.

The Stream is a waterproof MP3 player made by H2O Audio. Many swimmers enjoy swimming with music.

With eight gigabytes of onboard memory, STREAM stores roughly 8,000 songs – four times the music of Apple’s recently discontinued iPod shuffle, but STREAM adds bluetooth and is waterproof to depths of up to 12 feet. In addition, STREAM’s proprietary 360-degree swivel-based Snap-Clip easily attaches STREAM to goggles, swimsuits, coats or boardshorts, making it adaptable to every circumstance.

“With the iPod Shuffle being discontinued, athletes are looking for a small, durable device to enjoy music while training,” said Kristian Rauhala, founder at H2O Audio. “STREAM takes compact music players to the next level. Users can load up all of their favorite tracks and go from the office to the water with any of our waterproof headphones, or they can stream music from services such as Pandora, Spotify while training on dry land.”

STREAM also serves as a high-quality Bluetooth receiver, allowing users to stream music from any Bluetooth-equipped smartphone or audio device from as far away as 30 feet. On-board shuffle functions keep workouts and activities interesting, by randomly sorting and playing stored tracks, while Bluetooth connectivity ensures you never run out of content.

Pricing and Availability:

About H2O Audio

As avid watersports lovers, we wanted to extend that use to the pool and ocean. Designed by athletes for athletes, we now lead the field in waterproof headphones and iPod accessories, creating products with superior underwater sound.
