Lionel “No Limits” Sanders just proved—again—that limits are optional. Charging through the red-rock desert of St. George, Utah, he claimed the men’s title in 3:37:54, broke the bike-course record with a blistering 1:58:13 split, and recorded his fourth career victory on this iconic course. The win also tallies an astonishing 33 IRONMAN 70.3 titles for the Canadian powerhouse, underscoring a legacy that keeps growing by the mile.

How the Race Unfolded

  • Swim – A tactical 25-minute opener left Lionel 20th out of the water—exactly where he likes to stalk.

  • Bike– Then came the fireworks: a record-smashing 1:58:13 ride that carved a 2-minute lead and re-wrote the St. George script.

  • Run – He sealed the deal with a 1:11:49 half-marathon, high-fiving fans before breaking the tape.

Powered by Sound—Powered by H2O Audio

Lionel’s training sessions are sound-tracked by our TRI 2 Series bone-conduction headphones and the RIPT Ultra. TRI 2 Series is waterproof beyond IPX8 and loaded with 8 GB of onboard memory, they deliver the focus he needs on those long hot runs in the desert. The RIPT Ultra are his go to when on the trainer or completing a Zwift ride.

“Music helps me lock into the effort. Having tunes that never cut out—no matter the sweat or the weather—keeps me in the zone,” Lionel

What’s Next

With North-American-championship points in the bank, Lionel now heads to the summer block of the IRONMAN Pro Series atop the standings. Expect more headlines. Expect more records. And expect the soundtrack to stay loud.
